Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data ORIZIS Capital collects to provide loans, and why. We process personal data in line with the Zambia Data Protection Act, No. 3 of 2021.

1. Who is responsible

ORIZIS CAPITAL LIMITED, of Plot No. 41 Kasoho Road, Roma, Lusaka, Zambia (companies registration no. 120241001505, TPIN 2002400390), is the data controller. Contact: admin@oriziscap.com.

2. What we collect

Identity: full name, National Registration Card (NRC) number, date of birth.
Contact: phone number, Mobile Money number, address, email.
Financial: income, employment, existing obligations and information needed for an affordability/credit assessment.
Loan & repayment records and payment references.
Basic technical data (device/browser) if analytics are enabled.

3. How we use it

To verify your identity and assess whether a loan is affordable and appropriate for you.
To provide, disburse and administer your loan and process Mobile Money payments.
To contact you about your application, loan, repayments or support.
To prevent fraud and money laundering and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

4. Credit reference bureaus

With your consent and as permitted by law, we may share your loan and repayment information with, and obtain your credit information from, a licensed credit reference bureau in Zambia (for example [CREDIT REFERENCE BUREAU]). This helps us lend responsibly; your repayment behaviour may affect your future ability to borrow.

5. Payment data

Mobile Money disbursements and repayments are processed by pawaPay and the mobile networks. We never see or store your Mobile Money PIN.

6. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate (payment, identity/credit checks, secure hosting), with credit reference bureaus as above, and with regulators or authorities where the law requires, all under confidentiality.

7. Retention

We keep your data for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations, then delete or anonymise it.

8. Your rights

Under the Zambia Data Protection Act, 2021 you may access, correct or request deletion of your data, and object to or restrict certain processing. Email admin@oriziscap.com. You may also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.

9. Children

ORIZIS Capital is for adults aged 18 and over.
